This was my first eBook by Brooke Noelle and it's currently free on Amazon, along with her other two books: Hot Cop Next Door and Love Accidental. This story was exciting and it kept me on the edge of my seat to know what would happen. The constant suspense and fear made the story interesting and made me curious to keep going.
Chole, sometimes, acted a little embarrassing, pushing for something with Jake but that was understandable as she was trying to move on and forget about her horrible past. After the first appearance of her ex, the story became fast-paced and super electric as I was waiting for something major to happen. The story is kind of predicting but I enjoyed reading it, nonetheless.
I liked the author's writing and will be sure to check her other books.
