Would I Have Sexted Back in the 80's?: A Guide for Talking to Your Teens about Their Online Lives

Some brief overview of book

This is an excellent and easy to read guide for parents and families to start a conversation about teens and their devices, with solutions based on Allison Ochs’ highly recognizable and sometimes cringy stories from her youth. She also speaks from her experience as a teacher and social worker. The illustrations are by Ricardo Rivera, a young art student and they are so supportive of the stories, your kids will enjoy reading some of it with you if you find it hard to bring it up with them.

I have two daughters age 14 and 18 and a son almost 17. My husband and I sat at the kitchen table and we laughed a lot when we spoke of some of the examples and we really got to talk. It’s good to know more parents have questions and to have an idea where to start, what to say and where to draw lines.

I can highly recommend this book, especially for parents of older elementary kids and young middle schoolers, to me it felt like it was solid but friendly advice.
